ABOUT US

Since 2016, the European Network of Innovation for Inclusion (ENII) builds strong alliances between actors and promotes innovative solutions to complex social challenges, combining a European-wide approach with local implementation adapted to each context. It supports the transfer and scaling of successful social innovations across organisations and countries, providing members with access to pioneering initiativescapacity-building tools and practical methodologies to strengthen the impact and sustainability of their projects.

Today, the Network brings together more than 540 organisations from 35 countries.

OUR APPROACH

We identified common challenges faced by member organisations: difficulties in accessing innovative solutions, limited opportunities for knowledge exchange, and obstacles to scaling successful social innovations. To address these, we offer three tailored approaches that empower members, facilitate collaboration, and ensure that effective social innovations can be adapted and scaled across contexts.

SOCIAL INNOVATION LABS

Our Social Innovation Labs are structured cycles designed to transfer, replicate and scale successful social innovations across Europe. Through a collaborative methodology, organisations analyse challenges, identify transferable solutions, pilot innovations in new contexts and scale their impact. The Labs combine peer learning and strategic support to achieve sustainable social and labour inclusion.

CAPACITY BUILDING

EUROPEAN FORUM

The European Forum is the Network’s annual flagship event, bringing together experts, institutions, and practitioners in social innovation on experiences and trends for inclusion from across Europe. It provides a strategic space to share evidence, showcase impactful initiatives and connect policy and practice. The Forum fosters dialogue, collaboration and inspiration to drive systemic change at European level.

Action Against Hunger has been leading this European Network of Innovation for Inclusion (ENII)  since 2016, promoting social innovation among key stakeholders to contribute to a more inclusive European labour market. In Spain, the initiative operates under Priority 6, “Innovative Social Actions”, of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), within the programme for social inclusion, the Child Guarantee and the fight against poverty, as a social innovation project. It is also cofinanced by the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030.
